SPECIAL DAYS IN RAINBOW
There are three dates in the year specially observed by Kentucky Grand Assembly.
They are,
April 6th, the anniversary of our founding when each assembly attends church in a body on the Sunday nearest that date. This is required of all members. Another important date is Founder’s Day, July 8th,
which is Mr. Sexson’s birthday and is observed in many ways, such as picnics, beach parties, informal gatherings at the Masonic Temple when tribute is paid to this renowned gentleman or a regular meeting.
The third date is November 15th, which is observed by an inner organization of Rainbow known as the Grand Cross of Color. This is an honor degree bestowed upon members who have performed distinguished service
for the Order.
